The Fox and the Grapes

Some day, there was a fox who became very hungry. Then he starts to search for some food outside. He searched everywhere but there were no foods that could be eaten.

His stomach rumbled, and then he stumbled upon a farmer's wall. While the fox stood on top of the wall, he saw the biggest and juiciest grapes he'd ever seen. As if the grapes whispered to the fox saying they were ready to be eaten.

The fox needs to jump as high as possible to reach the grapes. He tried once but missed while he opened his mouth. He failed for another attempt, again and again.

Exhausted, he decided to go home. He muttered, "Those grapes, I think they were sour at all."

Terjemahan Bahasa Indonesia

Suatu hari, ada rubah yang benar-benar lapar. Lalu ia mulai mencari makanan di luar. Dia sudah mencarinya kemana-mana tapi ia tidak menemukan apa apa yang dapay di makan.

Perutnya keroncongan, dan ia tersandung di pagar milik seorang petani. Saat dirinya berdiri di atas pagar, ia melihat anggur terbesar dan tersegar yang pernah dilihatnya. Seakan-akan anggur tersebut berbisik kepada si rubah bahwa anggurnya siap untuk dimakan.

Si rubah butuh lompatan yang sangat tinggi untuk menggapai anggur itu. Dia sudah mencoba sekali tetapi tidak dapat walau ia membuka mulutnya. Dia gagal di percobaan yang satunya, gagal lagi dan gagal lagi.

Kecapean, dia memutuskan untuk pulang ke rumah. Sambil bergumam, "Anggur itu, menurutku asam semua."

The Proud Rose

Once upon a time, in a distant desert, there lived a rose that was incredibly proud of her attractive appearance. Her only gripe was that she was surrounded by an unsightly cactus.

Every day, the lovely rose would make fun of and disparage the cactus' appearance while the latter kept silent. The surrounding plants all attempted to reason with the rose, but she was too influenced by her appearance.

The desert dried up after one particularly hot summer, leaving little water for the vegetation. The rose rapidly started to wilt. Her lovely petals withered and lost their vibrant color.
