1. How did the writer describe the main character in paragraph one?

ANSWER:

1. The writer described the main character in paragraph one as feeling suffocated by a steady and futile lifestyle, searching for something outside the customs, and ultimately accepting his fate and walking away from his dreams. 

2. The word 'he' in paragraph 1 refers to Indrajit, the main character of the play, they are Bujang Beji and Tumenggung Marubai.

3. In paragraph 3, the word "envious" is closest in meaning to "jealous." 4. The sentence "There must be a way for Tumenggung Marubai not to get a lot of fish" means that there should be a solution for Tumenggung Marubai to avoid catching a large amount of fish.

5. Answer the questions listed in the box

1). The specific type of Narrative text from this story is Folktales.

2). The clues led you to your conclusion is Nowadays, the peak of Nanga Silat Hill is well known as Bukit Kelam. This is the folktales about Bukit Kelam.

3). My opinion about Bujang Beji’S action in using a toxin to catch fishes is not so agree because it's dangerous for river's population and it's environment may cause poluted water.

4). The moral value of the story is we must keep our environment clean and don't be greedy people. If we want to be a good people to other, we must stay doing the good attitude with the other peoples.

5). The topic sentence and supporting sentences: Tumenggung Marubai used a big trap called bubu to catch fish. (Topic sentence)
