      The Hawk and The Hen

In days of yore, the wise hawk fell in love with a hen. The hawk always says, "I shall marry the hen," while saw the hen every day when he flew through the sky.

One day, he landed on the ground to meet the hen. It was the first time they met. Without hesitation and they are now know each other, the hawk proposes to the hen. "I-I will agree to marry with you, but I can't until I do not have a big wing like yours!" and then the hawk agreed with the hen. The hawk hapily gives the hen an engagement ring but the size is to large for her to wear.

The hen walks out in front of other chickens with pride. The light reflected by the ring while she wore it on the neck. Then, by it large ring and the reflection draw some attention. A cockreal came and seems disapointed. "What are you doing? You supposed to be with me. did you forget?" he asked.

Then, he says, "throw that thing!" she was told. The hen stoned and do what the cockreal said. Not long after that, the hawk came back while bring the beautiful feathers for the hen. He still do not realize what is actually happened what the hen does before the hawk return. Finally, the hawk found the hen and happily presented the feathers for the one he loved, the hen. Then, the hawk says. "I finally brought it to you, we can get married now."

Shocked, the hawk realizes, the hen did not have the ring that he gave and he knows what is actually happened. He pretends not knowing anything and asking the hen first. "Where is it? the ring, and why you're not wearing it?"

The hen can't do anything except to accept the anger from the hawk. Suddenly, she thinks about the interesting story to convince the hawk and she said, "The day before, I was walking alone and suddenly the snake came. He came out of nowhere and trying to eat me. I ran away from the snake and somehow I lost the ring while escaping from the snake. It is not my fault I did not mean to lose the ring."

The hawk know she lied. He dissapointed from what the hen did. "I do not know exactly where the ring is but if you find it I will go to this ground and marry you. Don't forget about your punishment from me, you will start to scratch and peck the land until you find the ring. Also, every chicken of yours that I found. I will easily take it from you!"

The hawk leaves her without giving the hen to make another story to lie. After that. The hen still scratching and pecking the ground while the hawk preys on the chickens.
