Look at the pictures and answer the questions

1. What do you see in the picture? Tell the class.

2. How can you tell if someone is a loyal fan of a team or a player?

3. Which activity do you prefer? Why

ANSWER

1. Picture 2.1, People watching live sports event and Picture 2.2,  People watching sports event at home. 

2. If someone is a fan of a team or a player, especially a famous person or a sport, they like them very much and are very interested in them.

They also willing to spend money to buy a jersey or watch live at the stadium, even though it is expensive.

A loyal fan aslo will support a team or a player through thick and thin.

They'll always cheer a team or a player even when they don't deserve it and they'll never stop believing in a team or a player no matter what gets thrown at them.

3. I prefer watching sports event or game at home. 

I prefer watching at home because I can watch with family or friends at the same time.

Also, I feel safer watching at home.

Watching matches at home also saves money because there is no need to buy tickets and transportation costs.

Although the atmosphere obtained will not be the same as when watching live, but I think watching it live once or twice is enough.

I don't have to watch live every game from the team I support.

==> But, anyone maybe prefer waching live sports event. For many individuals, sports have long served as a source of enjoyment and relaxation. Watching sports, particularly at large gatherings, goes beyond entertainment.

It fosters a sense of community and belonging among audiences. This sense of connection not only makes individuals feel good but also benefits society by improving health, enhancing productivity, and reducing crime.

Although it is popularly recognized for its positive effects, existing studies on the relationship between watching sports and well-being offer only limited evidence.
